To be considered for the LEAD Scholars Academy Academic Program, a student must first apply and be accepted to the University of Central Florida through the Undergraduate Admissions Office. Once the student has been accepted to the University of Central Florida, the LEAD Scholars’ online application must be completed. The application link will be e-mailed to all students accepted to the university or it may be found on our website: http://lead.sdes.ucf.edu/apply. It is our hope that your talented students will take advantage of applying for this distinctive program at our institution.
More information may be viewed here: http://lead.sdes.ucf.edu/about regarding the LEAD Scholars Academy Academic Program. Please pass this information on to your students and fellow guidance counselors who may be interested in this unique program.
In addition, this school year we will be offering a number of presentations to high schools interested in our program. Our elite team of first and second year LEAD Scholars have been trained to give these professional presentations. We hope that through this outreach, we can give your students a personal account of how life as a UCF LEAD Scholar truly is. If your school would like us to facilitate a presentation for your students, please contact David Dill at [email protected] . Please feel free to contact our office if you have any further questions at [email protected] or 407-823-2223.
Sincerely,
Stacey Malaret, Ed.D.
