The Savannah College of Art and Design invites you to nominate outstanding high school seniors for the SCAD Distinguished Scholars Award, a prestigious scholarship in the amount of US$20,000 per year. To be considered, students must be recommended by a teacher, professor or school counselor. This scholarship is applicable toward tuition to attend SCAD in Atlanta, Hong Kong, Savannah or online via eLearning, and may be renewed annually, provided the recipient is enrolled and maintains a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0.

Teacher/counselor nominations and students' completed application files (including transcript, official test scores, portfolio and resume) must be received by Feb. 15. Please nominate students who meet or exceed the following:
• Minimum 1220 SAT combined math and critical reading score, or ACT composite score of at least 27
• GPA of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale
• Outstanding visual arts, performing arts, writing or riding capabilities
• Honors and awards from competitions, or other recognition
• Leadership skills demonstrated through co-curricular or extra-curricular involvement
