Students who wish to be considered for merit-based scholarships offered by the University must submit all application materials by December 15. The last standardized tests we will accept for automatic scholarship consideration are the February ACT and SAT.
Those students who apply in December and are admitted by December 15th who wish to be considered for other competitive scholarships at UA must also submit the supplemental scholarship application no later than January 1st. Students admitted after December 15th will still be eligible for automatic merit scholarships.
Transcripts containing 7th semester grades will be considered if the student is eligible for an automatic merit scholarship or can be upgraded from a previous award they received upon admission with a higher GPA.
Step-by-step instructions for the scholarship application can be found here.
Final scholarship offers will be mailed to recipients in March. For complete information about The University of Alabama’s academic scholarship offerings, please click here.
