It’s that time of year again!!
Here at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, we’re always looking for great talent to add to our current team. Therefore, we are excited to announce that we are currently looking for teens to join the award-winning W.I.L.D. Program!
As a W.I.L.D Steward, the teens will develop their leadership personalities all while immersing into wildlife and having fun. Throughout their first year of employment within the W.I.L.D. Program, the teens will work, learn and play through a wide variety of projects like exploring North Florida’s wild places, river kayaking, hands-on conservation research, serving as JZG brand ambassadors, camping, speaking publicly, fellowshipping with other teen leaders from different communities as well as handling a variety of animals from the African aardvark to Florida natives like the alligator and pine snake.
If you know teens or have students between the ages of 14 and 19* who would be an asset to this program, please share the link below with them or print out the QR Code. I also included a copy of this year’s brochure. Tentatively, the application should be submitted by March 28, 2020:

We look forward to hearing from, meeting and hopefully working with the teens in your area and that you know! Thank you for all that you do!
Sincerely,
Christopher Conner
