We will release 22,207 decisions which includes our accepts, summer offers, holds, and denials. In comparison, last year in December, we released 18,650 decisions. Of the students we are admitting, 109 are National Merit Semifinalists. Like last year, we are very pleased with the quality of our applicant pool, and below are the mid-ranges for this year’s fall and summer accepted students:
Fall
Academic Core GPA: 3.9 - 4.4 (average 4.2)
SAT: 1240-1370 (average 1311)
ACT: 27 - 31 (average 29)
Summer
Academic Core GPA: 3.7 - 4.3 (average 4.0)
SAT: 1190-1300 (average 1245)
ACT: 25 - 29 (average 27)
Florida State University is committed to expanding access to underrepresented and socio-economically disadvantaged students. Currently 461 students have been offered admission to the CARE Summer Bridge Program. We are already at capacity for CARE; therefore, other students qualifying for CARE will be placed on a waitlist. Our next CARE Committee meeting will be held at the end of January.
