Would you like an all-expenses paid trip to participate in a program at Stanford University or UC Berkley?
It is time to prepare for Duval's "Industry Certification Education Initiative (ICE) 2014". The ICE is a program designed to introduce our students to a true college experience in hopes of inspiring them to develop good study habits and to focus on setting high academic goals. This year our focus is business, engineering, and technology.
Participating students will receive an all-expense eight day paid trip to Stanford University or University of California, Berkeley both in California during the upcoming summer. The students, while on campus, will attend classes, live in dormitories and participate in the daily activities assigned.
There will be two sessions of the Industry Certification Education Initiative, with 32 students and 31 students respectively. Session 1 (Business and Innovation) will be held July 16-23 at Stanford University; Session 2 (Engineering and Technology) will be from July 29-August 5 at University of California at Berkeley. Students may choose to attend only one of the sessions.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please come to guidance. We are only able to nominate 3 students for this, so see me ASAP.
